We leave Grutte Gaastmar.
Today the wind is moderate but also with some strong gusts when we again cross De Fluezen and Hegemer Mar. But this time it is dry and so we can take some photos.
On the meadows along the Johan-Friso-Canaal we watch some flocks of birds.
After a short stretch on the Prinses-Magriet-Kanaal we turn to starboard and after a short stretch backboard in De Geau. Although driving very slowly the boat twice produces huge waves. It is very shallow here! I’m happy that we glide through and then reach deeper water.
We pass a nice sailing boat, named Verandering 1906, Gersloot. I’m not sure but in my view she looks more like a clipper than a tjalk. We then drive under the highway bridge and then follows a nice stretch to Snitser Mar. And here we come across the special boat which collects the rubbish at the Marrekrite moorings.
