Indian Summer on the Erne
19/09 - 30/09/2008 |
Our boat trip starts at Aghinver and Lucy tries to get a welcome treat.  It has rained a lot during the last weeks but the waterlevel has recently fallen although there is still a strong current.  The weather is fine and we will get 10 days with no rain and a lot of sunshine. After the wet summer we are coming just in time for the Indian summer.  At Naan Island we spot two deers swimming from one island to another.  They reach the conservation area and are secure against a pack of hounds swimming behind them.  The dogs are collected by their owner.   |
