In the evening we untie and raft together in a more sheltered place. A fourth barge, 4B, joins us.

Monday 25/04/2011 Scarriff Bay - Lake Úmará - Dromineer

Motto of the day: Off the beaten track

Coco, the dog of Donal, is loved by everyone this morning. The dog survived it.

It is cloudy but dry and mild again. The wind has changed to northeast and increased a bit. Willi helps Donal to replace an anchor. A cuckoo calls.

We visit some crews on the rafted boats but the time is too short to talk with more than a few. Clare shows Maebh and me some pieces of her new jewellery collection. I visit the crew of ‘4B’. The time flies. At noon we leave and drive on the Lough to Lake Úmará.
